How it works

From two days of dialogue to a published framework.

01

Listen

Framing sessions set out where African higher education stands today and why a continental, African-informed ranking matters.

02

Co-create

Delegates work in facilitated table groups on the principles, values and priorities that should sit behind the framework.

03

Prioritise

Table outputs are consolidated and tested with the room so the strongest ideas carry forward with a clear mandate.

04

Commit

The room agrees next steps, working groups and the timeline that turns two days of dialogue into a published framework.

After the two days

Outcomes report

A written synthesis of what the room agreed, circulated to every delegate.

Draft framework

The co-created principles worked up into a first draft of the ALL-AFRICA framework.

Working groups

Open calls to join the groups taking each pillar forward through 2026 and beyond.
