Professional Biography

I am Prof. Syed Amir Gilani, currently serving as a Professor in the Department of Medical Diagnostic Imaging, College of Health Sciences, University of Sharjah, Sharjah, UAE (www.sharjah.ac.ae).

Previously, I served as Rector of Green International University, Lahore, Pakistan (www.giu.edu.pk), and also held the position of Acting Rector at The University of Faisalabad, Pakistan (www.tuf.edu.pk).

Throughout my career, I have held several senior academic and administrative leadership roles across multiple universities, including Professor, Head of Department, Dean, Pro-Rector, and Rector. In addition, I have undertaken key strategic responsibilities such as Director of International Linkages at various universities, and Director of Distance Learning and Skill Enrichment (DDLSE) at the University of Lahore, Pakistan.
