Professor Judith Lamie is a highly experienced educationalist having worked in the education sector for over 30 years. During this time she held senior executive positions at several universities, providing institutional leadership in marketing and student recruitment, business engagement, online learning and international development. She has been responsible for running offices and campuses both in the United Kingdom and overseas and is an experienced leader, manager and consultant. Judith is Managing Director of JL Education Consultants Ltd.

At JLEC Judith provides interim management solutions, project planning and delivery, coaching and training sessions across a range of academic and professional areas including strategic leadership, internationalisation, marketing and change management.

Judith’s academic background, as a Professor of Advanced Language Study, with a specialism in change management, means she is well placed to assist institutions in making change happen. Judith is a Fellow of the HEA and has authored books and articles in applied linguistics, change management and international education. She has presented at national and international conferences, and worked in an advisory capacity for many institutions, governments, businesses and national agencies. Judith has extensive experience on external boards and is currently Chair of the Navitas Board of Directors. She is acutely aware of the importance of ensuring sustainability in the business whilst managing risk through robust governance and management policies and procedures.
