Adrian is a licensed geologist, currently heading the Mining Engineering and Geology Department at Adamson University in Manila. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of the Philippines, specializing in micropaleontology, paleoceanography and sedimentology.

He has applied his training through academic research and expeditions, consultancy roles in the mining industry, and collaborations with NGOs. As a dedicated educator, he has taught at various state and private universities across the Philippines. Adrian is frequently invited to be a guest lecturer at numerous institutions, and a facilitator of educational sessions in international schools and homeschools. He actively presents his research about coastal issues at local and international conferences, with recent engagements in Taiwan and Malaysia. He co-authored papers in his fields of interest, with the most recent being the clay mineral assemblages of sediments in the South China Sea in response to typhoons.

Adrian is passionate about retelling Earth’s vast history, dispelling misconceptions about the Earth and fostering critical thinking among his students. He enjoys sharing his vast geological knowledge with audiences of all ages across various platforms, always ready for his next adventure.
