Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jomphong Mongkhonvanit is Vice President, Dean of Graduate School of Business and Chair of Competitiveness Institute at Siam University, President of Siam Institute of Technology, Co-Chair of Global Impact Council of Microeconomics of Competitive Network at Harvard Business School and Principal Investigator of Digital Divide and Education System Project (Thailand) at the United Nations. He held positions such as Chair of Auditing Committee and Board Director at Thailand’s National Institute of Educational Testing Services (Public Organization) and President of Federation of Private Colleges of Technology and Vocational education of Thailand Under the Patronage of H.R.H. Princess Maha Ckakri Sirindhorn. Dr. Mongkhonvanit was also Advisor to Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister in Economic Affairs, Member in Thailand’s Parliamentary Standing Committees and Chief Consultant for international projects (sponsored by those such as World Bank, UNESCO, ASEAN Secretariat) and national development projects (sponsored by those such as Office of Prime Minister, Ministry of Education, Thailand Professional Qualification Institute, Office of Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion). Dr. Mongkhonvanit is the author of many books such as Coopetition for Competitive Regional Development published by Springer, and dozens of refereed articles Dr. Mongkhonvanit holds Doctor of Business Administration from University of Bath, Masters’ in International Education Policy from Harvard University and Political and Economic Development from Columbia University, and B.A. (Honour) in Economics and Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
