Dr. Azmul is an Associate Professor at Research Center for Arabic Language and Islamic Civilization, Faculty of Islamic Studies, The National University of Malaysia (UKM). He graduated from Yarmouk University of Jordan with Bachelor of Sharia and Islamic Studies. Master of Arts in Religion, Politics and International Relations from University of Wales Lampeter, United Kingdom. In 2013 he completed his PhD in Philosophy and Civilizational Studies from the Putra University of Malaysia. Since 2021, he appointed as Deputy Executive Director for Sustainability at UKM Strategy Center. Dr. Azmul has many works and publication on Muslim Philosophy of History and the History of Muslim Political Thought. He currently working on ‘Contemporary Application of Ibn Khaldun Political Thought’ and ‘The Framework of Digital Civilization’.
