Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo Jr is a veteran Filipino academic leader with over 40 years of experience in higher education administration and quality assurance. He currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), one of the major accrediting bodies for higher education institutions in the Philippines.
Dr. Iñigo is also the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the University of the Visayas in Cebu City, where he has played a key role in advancing institutional accreditation, academic quality, and strategic development.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, an MBA, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management. He completed post-doctoral studies in management and leadership, including programs at the Wharton School of Business (University of Pennsylvania) and the University of Minnesota, and has undertaken international professional training as a scholar in ASEAN-level quality education initiatives.
Dr. Iñigo is a recognized leader in professional and accreditation organizations in the Philippines. He has held roles such as Founding President of the Philippine Council of Deans and Educators in Business, Vice-President for Academe of the Government-Academe-Industry Network Inc. (GAIN), and has been appointed to technical committees in the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) related to business and management education.
He has also been honored with awards for educational leadership and contributions to quality assurance in Philippine higher education.
