Iman Harymawan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia. Currently, he also serves as the Head of the Airlangga Global Engagement, Universitas Airlangga. He obtained his Ph.D. degree (2016) in accounting from the City University of Hong Kong in Hong Kong, MBA degree (2009) from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, and his B.A. degree (2006) in accounting from Universitas Airlangga in Indonesia. His current research focuses include corporate governance issues, the accounting impact of political and military connections in business, and sustainability. He currently teaches corporate governance, managerial accounting, and sustainability reporting. He also serves as the Editor in Chief at the Asian Journal of Accounting Research (Scopus indexed)
