Marj has 35 years of experience as an educator, consultant, teacher-trainer, accreditor and assessor. She earned her two degrees at the University of the Philippines Diliman: Bachelor in Secondary Education, major in English and minor in Special Education (cum laude) and Master in Education major in English as a Second Language (ESL). She completed her Doctor of Education in Educational Administration at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (University of the City of Manila).

She recently joined the University of Perpetual Help System DALTA (Calamba, Las Pinas and Molino campuses) as the Executive Vice President. She was the former Vice – President for Academics and Research, which she served for 12 years, of Southville Global Education Network and its mother school is Southville International School and Colleges (SISC).

She also served as the Dean of the School of Business Management of Southville International affiliated with Foreign Universities (SISFU), offering British programs from De Montfort University in Leicester and from Pearson. As part time faculty, she taught at SISFU teaching Perspectives in Creative Leadership and a dissertation adviser, and likewise a part time faculty at the Graduate School of SISC teaching Human Behavior in Organization and Organization Development.

Her personal values, honor and excellence, serve as the anchors for advocating QUALITY towards uplifting the quality of teaching for the Filipino people. Her QUALITY journey includes serving as an accreditor of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA), an assessor for the Philippine Quality Award (PQA) and as a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), the Government, Academe, Industry Network (GAIN) shared initiative on the National Roadmap for Global Competitiveness in Communication Skills.
