Kgomotso Moahi has worked in academia for the past 37 years. She started her academic career at the University of Botswana as a Documentalist, after which she joined the Department of Library and Information Studies as a lecturer. As a professor in library and information science she has researched and published in the areas of health information systems and indigenous knowledge systems. She occupied several administrative and management positions at the University from Departmental chair, Dean, and acting appointments as DVC Academic Affairs and Vice Chancellor. After exactly 35 years of service at the University of Botswana, she moved to the Botswana Open University where she is currently the DVC in charge of Academic Services as well as Research Innovation and Partnerships. The Botswana Open University is a very young university that seeks to provide quality teaching, research, and service through open and distance learning methodologies. Kgomotso is looking forward to participating in the AppliedHE Squaring the Circle Debate.
