Lilian Sison has extensive experience in institutional development in Higher Education having held senior management positions at the University of Santo Tomas as Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Research and then Dean of the Graduate School. She is also actively engaged in advocacy work on inter-religious dialogue as Chair of the Asia Pacific Women of Faith Network of Religions for Peace (RfP). She works with different Faith groups in promoting dialogue among different Faiths and in common action on humanitarian and resilience building activities particularly on women and children issues. Her work has been presented in regional and global forums such as the UN Alliance of Civilizations in Brazil, and RfP Assemblies in Bosnia Herzegovena, Myanmar, Indonesia and Southern Thailand. In 2019, she chaired the Women Forum of Religions for Peace World Assembly held in Lindau, Germany. Most recently she was invited to participate in the Asian Online Regional Consultation of the G20 Interfaith Forum 2020 sponsored by King Abdullah International Dialogue Centre (KAICIID) and the UN Alliance of Civilizations.
