Marek Kręglewski is full professor at Faculty of Chemistry of Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznan (Poland), being theoretical chemistry and quantum chemical calculation, high resolution molecular spectroscopy of floppy molecules and computer tools for spectroscopy his main research areas.
Throughout his professional career, he has held various academic positions. Nowadays, he serves as Rector’s plenipotentiary for the University Management Information Systems, Head of the Department of Theoretical Chemistry, and Director of the AMU’s Interuniversity Centre for Informatics, which is a consortium of 20 Polish universities.
Professor Kręglewski is since 2015 the current President of the Compostela Group of Universities (CGU), where previously served as Treasurer and member of the Executive Committee.
