Sheikh Hammad Amjad is currently the Deputy Country Head Pakistan for one of the largest Japanese logistics groups globally. He is the former CEO for the International Business Council established to facilitate business linkages, and has also served as CEO, British Business Centre Pakistan, a company formed by the British Government to facilitate UK SMEs in the country. He has previously worked with the British Council and Ministry of Information & Technology in Pakistan.

Hammad is a management professional with extensive experience in business and programme management, strategies and programmes. His experience includes working with large number of stakeholders, engaging government, trade, and civil society organisations in programme implementation.

Together with his professional roles, Hammad is also engaged as a consultant with various organisations for market expansion, business development and training of entrepreneurs. He has founded 11 start-ups in his career. He is a business coach and mentor, and associated with several incubation centers across Pakistan.

Hammad holds an MBA degree from the Institute of Business Management, Karachi, and last year received the prestigious Charales Wallace Trust Fellowship at SOAS, University of London.
