Prof Kevin Downing is Secretary to Council and Court, Professor of Veterinary Clinical Science at City University of Hong Kong. His portfolios have included strategic and academic planning, institutional research, quality assurance and liaison with the Universities Grants Committee. Prof Downing is a Chartered Psychologist and Chartered Scientist with a current Licence to Practice, and Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society with wide international experience, including senior academic posts in Europe and Asia. His published work centres on psychology, education and metacognitive development and he is Editor-in-Chief of the SSCI and SCOPUS listed journal Educational Studies.

Dary Milani is an international education specialist with a wealth of experience and knowledge spanning over 17 years. As a leader in international education, Dary has developed expertise in designing and implementing growth strategies for public and private institutes alike, helping them to identify optimisation opportunities and achieve outstanding results. One of Dary’s most notable achievements was designing and implementing a 5-year growth strategy for a regional university, resulting in unprecedented numbers of international student enrolments and exceeding revenue targets year-on-year. Dary’s innovative approach to offshore-based student recruitment staff has also been successfully implemented in numerous institutions, meeting local and international regulations.

Dary has led innovative Transnational Education strategies, co-creating a new model for a university that fulfilled a core mission of access to education on a global scale. His work has been recognised with numerous industry awards, including for the establishment of student leadership programs and donor-funded scholarships that have had a transformative impact on individual development and community engagement. With his exceptional depth of industry knowledge and innovative approach, Dary Milani continues to make a lasting impact on the international education landscape.
